Edmond started his Speech Level Singing (SLS) training in San Francisco Bay Area with Master Teacher Ms. Shelly Franklin (Level 5, IMT- www.shellyfranklin.net) in 2002. Since then, he has never skipped any weekly lesson with Seth (Founder, Speech Level Singing - www.sethriggs.com), Shelly or Master Teacher Greg Enriquez. In addition, he is also an active participants of past SLS Teachers' Conference and Summer Vocal Program. As a registered school teacher in California and in Hong Kong, he understands the importance of life-time learning. In fact, he believes that he is cheating himself if he does not achieve his fullest potential in every part of his life.

Edmond's only goal is to teach like Seth. What it means is that, his students will have the closest learning experience as if Seth is teaching them himself. To Edmond, Seth's teaching is humble, inspiring, empowering, demanding yet achievable. Seth views most people have a gift to sustain speech (the definition of singing). A vocal coach does not invent this gift. We just refine it so that students can earn a living out of it. Edmond will try his best to do the same using every power he got.

In 2008, Edmond moved back to Hong Kong from California and started teaching singing in this place he grew up in. Since then, he has given more than 250 hours of lessons. Besides Cantonese-speaking Chinese, Edmond also has experience in teaching students speaking only Japanese, Taiwanese, Mandarin, or English aged from 11 to 65.
